Like other types of allergies, there are two ways to determine if a person has dust allergy. The first is through skin testing and the second is blood testing. Skin test is done by placing a suspected allergen below the skin. This is used to identify if there a reaction will take place. The three categories of skin test are skin prick test, intradermal test and the skin patch test. On the other hand, blood testing locates for the substances in the blood that are called antibodies.
